How to look at results from the Novice League (VCSC) Meet:
We are promoting individual Improvement. We would like for swimmers to see that time put into the water results in improved swims. This is a primary reason why we do not award swimmers according to place, but want them to see their accomplishments as they improve in the sport of swimming. These results are not to compare to other swimmers, or to compare one program to another. Programs attending the meet all come from a variety of commitment and development. Swimmers from our VCSC teams will be practicing for 1 hour, 3 days a week, while some Flying Dolphin Members are in our Green and White Groups who are practicing a little more, as they are participating in our USA Swimming Program.
